State Pharmaceuticals Corporation gets new Chairman

Dr. Ajith Mendis has been appointed as the new Chairman of the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation by Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.

It was reported that former Chairman Sarath Liyanage was removed by the subject Minister over several allegations.

Dr. Mendis, who is to assume duties tomorrow (17) had also served as the Director General of Health Services.
